JARE

From New Orleans we traveled to Houston for their "Let Us Entertain You" weekend. The leather clubs sponsor the weekend for out-of-town guests with free drinks, food, and more!!! Thank you Houston Council of Clubs, and thank you owners of the bars and businesses donating to the fun. A special "Thank you" to

Miss Charlotte for all the fun.

We

loved the hairy chest contest and the hot buns winner.

Many friends are "made", along with renewing friendships from the previous years of carnival. It is always nice to see Dirty Dottie, Lou and Nick at Lucilles, Kerry and his latest love, Eddie, Lady Roz, Miss Terry, The Widow Miss Shibley, Rick, Gary and Mike, Wally Sherwood, Lee and Lou, Derrick, and new this year, Steve, Scott and Chris. If you get to New Orleans be sure to stop and see Jerry Menefee's new bar on Rampart. Jerry, you have done us proud and thanks for the drinks. We saw many of our friends from home in New Orleans too. Tom B. joined in the fun for the first time as did Mike. We were wearing our ACTION T shirts and many Ohioians stopped us to say "hi". Jimmy and Jamie shared the room again this year, and for many years to come, I hope. They are always fun.

We stayed at the LANDMARK FRENCH QUARTER HOTEL. If you are in need of a room, this is the place to stay. Laverne, we miss you!, but next year, please don't celebrate Ash Wednesday with a fire.

Bob

A very special thanks is in order to T. and his roommates for the hospitality of their home.

Again we met many Clevelanders now living in Houston, Albert, Ernesto, Rick Howard, Kevin, Bob... too many to mention.

Saturday night we were treated to a party and orgy for a mere 2000 people at the OFFICER'S CLUB. They do know how to party in Houston!

We have already started to make plans for Mardi Gras 1984 in both New Orleans and Houston. Drop what ever you are doing, unless it's warm, and call your travel agent, you won't be dissapointed!
